The presentation slides delivered during plenary sessions at the 2nd March 2016 Making a step change conference at Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre in London.

This workshop reviews how to use whole family approaches to include and support young carers and their families, including identifying challenges, solutions and good practice, with a focus on mental health and substance misuse services.
workshop b
This workshop reviews the legislation around assessments and provides practical tools for measuring the impact of the legislation and the outcomes for young carers and their families.
workshop c
This workshop was co-hosted by young carers, and discusses the concept of well-being and the policies and services that help meet the needs of young carers.
workshop d2
This workshop focuses on the new rights for young adult carers and discusses specific examples of local practice and outcomes.
workshop e
The workshop aims to develop understanding of what data is needed in order to verify what the impact the ‘new’ legislation has been and the impact of local support models. It also considers what data might be needed to measure whether a whole system / whole council approach is working effectively for young carers and their families.
